Sony DVPNS92V High-End HDMI DVD Player

Sony announced DVPNS92V HDMI DVD player with only one addition - HDMI.
They use their own scaling technology. No wonder, Sony is one of the companies that refuses to buy anything from anyone. They better be late to the market for years rather than buying it from someone else. Sony claims that DVP-NS92V is a great addition to their newly announced BRAVIA brand of flat screen LCD TVs. By the way the player can scale up to 720p or 1080i and is DivX compatible. Sony DVP-NS92V will be available in Europe in October of 2005 and there is no word if it is coming to US. Most likely yes and before Holiday season. Quick googling reveals that some online retailers are readying to offer this product somewhere at £180.
